Meet our team
Michael Novak is the Director of BGL.
Using his Mechanical Engineering background and 15 years’ industry experience, Michael has developed a unique skill set to provide clients with advice on product selection and protection of structures from hazards associated with water, soil vapour and / or ground gas ingress.
Graeme Malpass is BGL’s Principal Environmental Scientist
A Chartered Geologist and Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP – Site Contamination Specialist), he is a seasoned international consultant with first-class technical skills. With more than 30 years of experience as a contaminated land practitioner specialising in soil vapour / ground gas mitigation, Graeme prepares technically robust design and specification documents that satisfy stakeholder, regulator and environmental / site auditor requirements.
Tom Felauer is an Assistant General Manager with 10 years’ experience.
Working closely with Michael and Graeme, Tom uses his Civil Engineering background together with his estimating expertise to ensure that BGL provides cost-effective integration of specified products into the built form.
